Mobile Growth Leads To Malware Surge

Its official.  Our mobile devices are attracting flies.  In large quantities.

Malware, for the uninitiated, is designed to work its way into your device and then do damage - usually -  by  connecting you and your data, identity, privacy information to a third party system located somewhere else.  Its mal because it is "bad".

While viruses infect your system so that it no longer works properly, malware usually hides out so that you don't know its there.

Best advice:  Always use protection.  We've heard that before, right?

Good companies to look for:  Norton (Symantec), McAfee, Trend Micro, Panda, ESET, Kaspersky
