Apple is in Trouble Without Steve Jobs

Maybe he has an ax to grind, maybe not.  But Larry Ellison certainly has a pretty good view of the tech world, albeit from Enterpriseland.  He may not have the best instincts for Consumerland as Steve jobs most certainly had when he stopped competing with the likes of IBM and Microsoft and ventured into the land of smartphones and tablets, two areas that are foreign to IBM and probably incomplete for Microsoft, where the jury is still out on success - or even market acceptance.

It will be interesting to watch what happens when Apple's compulsive control (of everything) slips from its grip.
