Google And Viacom Win Landmark Web Privacy Lawsuit Filed By Parents

Google and Viacom were able to prevail in suits brought on behalf of their children that alleged that cookies and other tracking methods endangered child.  The use of Big Data and other analytics and profiling methods are now common practice on the Internet.  In this case the issue seems to be the responsibility of parents to protect their children.  Guess who is paying the cable and cellphone bills.  Not the children.
