We haven't seen the last of new technologies in the evolution of mobile devices. Location sensitivity is a HUGE capability that is just now becoming more prevalent in the United States. If you thought your digital privacy and identity were being compromised with "follow" technology, just wait. I can foresee a time when we turn off our mobile devices and go "dark" so our locations won't be detected when we don't want them to be. Its also a great idea for upcoming reality shows.
