Forbes says "Do Not Track" could "kill the Internet startup economy"

Its 1952 and you are standing in front of the mailbox at the end of your driveway.  When the postman arrives, you have him show you each piece of junk mail so that you can either accept or reject it.  What?  The purpose of "Do Not Track" is for the Internet user to decide whether any third-party has a right to identify your identity or to collect marketing (or surveillance) information about you.  I doubt that most of us really care about the ads.  Come on!
