Earlier this month I blogged about the newest enterprise Cloud service, The Uppernet from Verizon, and was bold enough to call it Amazon envy. Well the Amazon I was referring to was AWS - the very same Cloud hosting service that apparently was responsible for the Netflix and Instagram storm outages late last week. Sounds like a great opening for The Uppernet. Expect Verizon reps at the doors of Netflix and Instagram on Monday. That is if The Uppernet is as robust as advertised.
