Just when we've begun to get really serious about social media we get a landmark ruling against taking anything posted on social media seriously. It is refreshing that the long arm of the law doesn't believe that reacting to posts is the same as other forms of "legal" utterance, like shouting fire in a crowded theater would be.
This technology pro believes this ruling is important, if only because so much of what is posted these days is impulsive fluff and opinion, including this blog (only some of the time).
The rest of the time it is SERIOUS STUFF.
