Curiosity killed the cat - I've been told. But this plea for openness is really curious. No less curious than the previous post that takes Facebook to task for their archive of faces. In this one, the issue is that Apple controls the security of iMessage - their SMSlike service - in much the same fashion as a CA (Certificate Authority for the uninitiated). But with CAs, at least they are a trusted "Third Party" to the transaction.
The question becomes can we trust Apples closed system. So will many, I am certain. But others, like me, will always be suspicious for some mysterious reason. Its the tyranny of Democracy.
