FBI vs. Google: The Legal Fight to Unlock Phones

The privacy argument continues with the FBI and Google working to clarify YOUR rights and privileges for keeping device identity private from the government.

If you're an Apple owner, you already LOST that right.  You can be followed and tracked if the mobile device is suspected in a legal investigation.  This is the sensationalist part of the post.  The back story is that if you don't do anything illegal, the device you choose doesn't really matter.

But the story is worth watching, especially as the Apple Android competition over market share continues to heat up.

Heads-up. The WSJ site requires a subscription for the full article. Probably a good thing if you can afford it.
