Yes, Android - by its nature is less secure than iPhone. Duh! When you pay a premium for a "closed" system where you pay every time you pass through the turnstyle you, you demand, yes, demand security.
But to blindly choose Android and not do a little research on the manufacturer, OS version, carrier track record, etc., you leave yourself open to security "holes".
Hats off to IOS for its consistency. I just don't like paying such a huge premium for a PHONE. And go for it to the rest of you who can afford it. I can't.
