I guess Social Media is coming of age. But it seems, somehow, like the IBM story all over again.
The big guy, Facebook, breaks away from the pack - goes public, takes its lumps -initially - for doing so.
And now all the other guys, LinkedIn and Twitter to mention two are getting "really serious" about their APIs, platforms, relationships, UI, etc.
This is going to be a crazzzy Fall. Not to mention the Presidential election, of course.
