Help Desk Security is Probably Flawed

And we thought our internal help desk systems were impervious to outside threats!  Years ago we taught that IT security risk was equally divided between internal and external threats.  With this recent exercise, it sounds like internal may be more vulnerable, especially with the addition of BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) security issues.

But how have we evolved so slowly that our own efforts to support and protect the LAN inside our company walls have deteriorated this far?
