Its a good thing that at least one country has driven a stake in the ground to define a policy that will try to protect its citizens and Internet commerce from many of the common abuses from cybercriminals and State security zealots alike. What remains to be seen is the potential for dialogue, agreement, and global cooperation toward improving conditions.

See Internet Bill of Rights which pops up at least once yearly and looks better and better given the passage of some time since it was proposed early in the first Obama administration.
