Trust takes on new meaning when we consider the implications of identity technology. As the following post illustrates, we are in our infancy of connectedness.
Just think about it. You are in your car driving down the street and you come to an intersection. You know to turn right. But is the street safe, the way clear for you - unobstructed or without any threat or risk? The same idea holds true for connectedness by smartphone, computer, or - soon - among all the devices and services we WILL connect with.
I'm not a doomsayer, but risk will increase as the potential for harm explodes exponentially.
And I really believe that we wil either become more careful or redefine our concepts of trust and identity.
