Why Apple Is Like a Movie Studio

Questions continue as to whether the technology revolution spawned by Apple ended with the passing of its founder Steve Jobs or if they have more in them.  This movie studio analogy is an interesting twist, but lacks consistent historical support.  Technology evolves.  Just imagine the re-introduction of a newer, sleeker CD Player.  They did that, remember, with the iPod.  But when listing the various types of items to be re-visited - not unlike the number of superheroes, there are serious limits.

Technology requires revolutions, not evolution in order for companies like Apple to continue to lead.  Remember IBM and the typewriter or RCA and the vacuum tube radio and television.  Now that we have serious global players like Sony, Samsung, Phillips, and other emerging technology visionaries, the possibilities are promising.  But from Apple?
